Why Should You Organize Your Closet Like A Retailer?
🌸✨So if you haven’t been following my personal page @stylespobykara, I often share a few tips and tricks about store merchandising and personal closet styling and this blog post is one that I shared a few months back but still effective today and every other day moving forward. It’s reasons on why you should merchandise your closet like a retailer, here’s my take on it:✨🌸
.
How easy would it be to get dressed if your closet was organized like your favorite boutique? Pretty easy I know!🙈 Apply these simple #merchandising strategies to your closet and I guarantee you’ll feel more inspired to create original #outfits out the clothes you already own.
•Organize your clothing. Think about how a clothing store sorts and displays their merchandise they probably first arrange by season and then group by color and in your personal regard remove unwanted, unused clothing that you may not need.
•Invest in a garment rack, display 25 - 30 seasonal garments in a coordinating palette on rack this makes getting dress super easy and creates readymade outfits.
•Invest in some wallpaper, let’s make our closet lively and fun, a safe haven where it feels good getting dress.
•Put your shoes on display, adding a few shelves for your shoes gives you more focus on the pairs you have, I can admit I fall in the category of repeating shoes simply bc I can’t see the others.
•Add a mirror, a full length mirror (need I say more) all retail boutiques has one or more of these.
•Add canvas/acrylic storage boxes for items such as scarves, clutches, or any bulky accessory item that tends to create a clutter.
•Change out hangers, this minor detail can make a major impact in making your closet feel like your favorite boutique just by adding matching hangers.
#ProTip: If what you wear doesn’t support who you are or who you’re becoming it has no space in your newly styled closet.
Happy Revamping Ladies!
