“Quarantine Closet Clean Out”
Out With The Old In With The New”- there couldn’t be a better time for this quote- this post is all about Closet Clean Outs/Cleanse.
Yes we all need these at the end of every, quarter, season and in this instance DECADE! Here are some tips and tricks you can use to successfully do a closet cleanse.
.
1. If it doesn’t make you happy, or at least make you feel good throw it out- how many of us hold on to pieces that are uninspiring, a bad gift that was never worn, or an impulse purchase? My answer to that is so many of us, and in this new year moving forward let’s not continue the trend of having that energy in our closets.
.
2. Get rid of “Closet Pushbacks”- if you’re like me we have tons of things that we keep in our closet that we push to the back in hopes of eventually wearing them and let’s face it months even sometimes years go by and we never get to them and that creates a habit called “hoarding” and come on we all watch the popular show on TLC, need I say more?
.
3. Turn Your Closet Cleanse Into Cash- with sustainable fashion at the forefront this season you can consign your preloved pieces and score a pretty penny towards your fresh new wardrobe, there’s a local boutique here in Nassau @racksconsignementboutique that can assist you with that transition. I think this is an amazing way to cleanse without having any guilt of letting go, make it fun.
